Fun with Sprikit Support
We love the emails that we get from our customers. It helps us build better software. But I would just like to take a moment to celebrate a certain series of emails that we received earlier this week... His name is Joe. Everybody say "Hi Joe!"
I am beginning to wonder if I am going to get angry with you for the non response from your company. I would have thought that you would have constant contact with your so called support department by owning a phone for which you make programs that do not work.

So here is the bottom line, if I do not hear from you within 18 hours, I shall with the greatest of pleasure apply to Itunes for a refund, and slag your program off on the review section for everyone to read and I hope they do not waste their dam money on your crap program, and that is exactly what it is.
Now, we don't like upset customers... so I quickly responded...
Joe,

I personally respond to every email we receive. I don't know where your other emails are but we didn't get them, nor are they in our archives.

I don't know how to respond to a simple "It doesn't work." We have many thousands of customers and aside from small bug reports none of our apps have any critical tickets on file. Perhaps you can be more specific so that I can help you figure out the source of the problem.

Which application are you experiencing the trouble with?
What are you doing when the error occurs?
Please include any other details that might be of interest when addressing the cause of the problem.

To which I got the reply...
Thank you for the reply.THE PROGRAM IS CALLED " BLOCKED".

Here are the reasons why I emailed you, with a complaint:

It crashed several times WHEN TRYING TO ADD A BLOCK NUMBER LIST.

It has listed a vast amount of numbers which HAVE SWEET F.A TO DO WITH ME, neither are they any of the numbers in my phone.

When I tried to delete them they returned after resetting the program, AND continuously crashed, which was so dam annoying.

I have not been able to set up any of the numbers that I want blacklisted, so the program is useless at this moment.

Your support service is not "all that" for sure, when addressing people who money in your dam pocket, you should show some manners, especially when emailing your customers.

Your email address is the email which I saw on your site, so why did you not receive them, that's just proves my earlier point.

Maybe you will reply with some resolutions instead of nonsense.
Some people just can't be helped...
Joe,

I make it a policy not to reply to abusive support requests. If you'd like my help, and I'm more than happy to give it, I would ask that you please conduct yourself with some modicum of civility.

That said, the behavior (besides the crashing which is being investigated) is the documented, advertised behavior of the app. From the app-store description:

"Blocked is the first socially powered telemarketer database. " ... "you instantly have access to a vast database of known telemarketers that will be labeled as Do Not Answer"

Blocked is not (nor does it advertise itself to be) a personal block list. I'm sorry that this behavior is not what you would want it to be, but (aside from the aformentioned crashing) it app is performing as it was designed to.

As far as our support... your initial request was responded to on the same day that it was sent and within an hour or two. I'm not sure what you're looking for.
